NOIA Conference 2008
The Newfoundland Offshore Industry Association (NOIA) Annual conference has opened new doors to eastern Canada oil industry. Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources Gary Lunn today announced the creation of a new governmental agency called the Atlantic Canada Energy Office ( ACE) to be based in St Johns Newfoundland which will look after all matters relating to Atlantic Canada’s Energy Industry. The Minister also reinforced Atlantic Canada’s offshore
industry as being on the the worlds most significant regions for project development.
Atlantic Canada has a number of offshore and onshore oil and gas projects that are bringing approximately $10 Billion to the province of Newfoundland & Labrador per year. The growth of the province has made Newfoundland as one of the best places for Oil Investment in North America.
